Kadoka is a city in Jackson County, South Dakota, United States. The population was 654 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Jackson County.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.32 square miles (6.01 km), of which, 2.29 square miles (5.93 km) is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 km) is water.

As of the census of 2010, there were 654 people, 291 households, and 160 families residing in the city. The population density was 285.6 inhabitants per square mile (110.3/km). There were 350 housing units at an average density of 152.8 per square mile (59.0/km). The racial makeup of the city was 81.2% White, 0.5% African American, 13.3% Native American, and 5.0% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.2% of the population.
There were 291 households of which 27.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 39.9% were married couples living together, 10.0% had a female householder with no husband present, 5.2% had a male householder with no wife present, and 45.0% were non-families. 40.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 19.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.17 and the average family size was 2.94.
The median age in the city was 44.5 years. 24.9% of residents were under the age of 18; 6.1% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 19.4% were from 25 to 44; 25.1% were from 45 to 64; and 24.5% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the city was 46.9% male and 53.1% female.
